Throughout the world you can find Down syndrome Clinics to help you with your health, development and emotional needs. Some clinics specialize in adults with Down syndrome while others focus on children 0-18. Each clinic is independently operated, so each may provide services different from another. Some services that may be included are: Genetic Counseling, Health and Wellness, Therapy for developmental delays, psychological evaluations and referrals to necessary specialists. Because an individual with mosaic Down syndrome has a percentage of the cells that cause Down syndrome, it is necessary that a qualified physician with knowledge in Down syndrome see this individual. It is not essential to visit a Down syndrome clinic for your health and wellness needs, but it may be beneficial if one is conveniently in your area. As a special service to you, we have included the Down syndrome clinics known to us. This list is divided into regions of the United States and various countries throughout the world. Many clinics are being built around the world, so this list does not completely represent each clinic.
