Since its inception in 2001, the International Mosaic Down Syndrome Association has been dedicated to supporting families whose lives have been touched by the diagnosis of mosaic Down Syndrome. It is a completely volunteer run organization with a growing number of enthusiastic members. IMDSA is committed to expanding knowledge and awareness of mDs through supporting medical research, providing academic scholarships, networking via its Family Connect program, holding mDs conferences and facilitating online support groups.

IMDSA faces the same financial concerns as many other non profits. Kind donations are vital to help offset the many administrative and maintenance costs associated with running the organization. Below is just a small list of examples of the costs associated with day to day operation.

Our hope for 2014 is to raise $2,500, which will offset administrative costs and help us prepare for vital events including the Down Syndrome Research and Retreat Weekend in October 2015. Once again, we would like to thank our membership for their continued support in raising mDs awareness and research. Our volunteers are humbled to serve such an amazing and diverse community!
