Join the International Mosaic Down Syndrome Association for our 2027 Research & Retreat Weekend!
R&R brings together families from across the country for a weekend of connection, education, research, and fun — all centered around the Mosaic Down syndrome community.
This year, we're heading to Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, Ohio, with a special Family Day Out at Kings Island to kick off the weekend!

Make R&R a family getaway! We've secured a special IMDSA group rate of $199 per night at Great Wolf Lodge Mason. Our contracted rooms are Family Suites and Family Fireplace Suites with balcony/patio, and there is no resort fee for our group.
Our group rate is also available up to three days before and three days after R&R, based on availability, for families who would like to extend their stay.
Room reservations must be made by May 31, 2027.


Mason, Ohio is conveniently located between Cincinnati and Dayton and is within driving distance of several major airports.
Families are encouraged to compare all three airports for the best combination of airfare and flight schedules. Rental cars and rideshare services are available from the airports.
Traveling by train? Amtrak serves Cincinnati Union Terminal. Rail service into Cincinnati is limited, so families choosing Amtrak should check schedules carefully and arrange transportation from Cincinnati to Great Wolf Lodge.

We’re kicking off R&R with a day of FUN!
On Friday, June 25, R&R families will spend the day together at Kings Island, conveniently located within walking distance of Great Wolf Lodge. A paved walking path connects the area, making it easy for families to head over without needing to drive and park.
Spend the day enjoying the park, reconnecting with old friends, meeting new R&R families, and making memories together before our workshops and research programming begin on Saturday.
